Kol Restaurant, Reykjavik

Kol Restaurant, Reykjavik

We were recommended this restaurant by an Irishman who lives in Reykjavik and runs a local tour shop.  We made a reservation and really enjoyed the experience. We were a group of 3 girls and were looking for a fun place to eat that would give us an opportunity to try some local cuisine.

The restaurant is divided into spaces with cozy leather couches and has a variety of different table settings. The atmosphere is modern chic but warm and friendly at the same time. The cocktails menu was quiet extensive and diverse. The waitress was super nice, helpful and guided us through the menu. The food was really delicious, well presented and offered a lot of local Icelandic dishes.

This was my second trip to Reykjavik and I have been very impressed with the restaurants –  Sjavargrillid was also outstanding!
