Florence

Ponte Vecchio, the old bridge over the Arno river in Florence

Florence

On our journey from Siena to Florence we met a lot of cool people on the bus so ended up socialising a lot in Florence. Lots of drinking, many crazy nights – so much fun.

Florence was much nicer than Rome, in my opinion. Not as many tourist attractions but a it looks a lot cleaner and is much prettier.  I went to see David at the Accademia

The Galleria dell’Accademia – or Accademia Gallery – in Florence, Italy, is without a doubt most famous for its sculptures by the great Renaissance artist, Michelangelo. His Prisoners(or Slaves), his St. Matthew and, above all, the magnificent statue of David within the Tribuneare what first draw most of the hundreds of thousands of visitors the museum welcomes every year.
